... return to. It was cheap to park on the street too. They had a machine that you pay and it was only $1.50 an hour!! I turned on Decatur and just walked straight towards Jackson Square. I stopped at a souvenir shop on the way and the shop owner was super nice. I walked towards Jackson Square and took pictures and then stopped at Cafe du Monde on the way back to the car. days in New Orleans, which apparently is one of the most violent & corrupt cities in the USA. Apart from one incident we experienced here, we actually found this place quite fascinating and in some ways very interesting, but sad.
