        ... not to get stuck. We end up camping at a designated spot with a picnic table but Way to close to the noisy road. Saturday September 8th Cook breakfast and pack up in our normal relaxed fashion, Bob jumps in our car and shuttles us to our starting point. Did 20+ mile 'cause river was moving fast...the first 6-7 miles were the prettiest, but there is a nice spring on the right about 8-10 miles short ...

        Weather is killer right now. The next ten days will be nothing but 100+ degree days with medium to high humidity and NO CLOUDS OR RAIN. Today was pretty crazy. Brent and I are now on a time constraint to get to Springfield, MO before the 3rd to meet with Benny and Jess as they head back East from Colorado. We're going to be spending the 4th together.

        ... to get to the bike store so off we went to Trans Am Bike Shop and Tony the owner waited on us and we chatted with him, he gave us a discount which was very nice....Jane got some more oil for the chains, I got my GU for the Kentucky Mountains...Ramona got some Energy Beans......Got back and Jane did her usual taking care of all the bikes.....she has put herself in charge of this......and we do appreciate her doing it and don't expect it from her......
