We were up early-ish but got a later start than most in our hotel. Gates at the venue opened at 0600 and I was afraid everyone would be lined up to get in. So we waited. We left Charlottesville at 0900, arriving to our turn-off at 1000, but cops had it blocked. So we ended up going about 5 miles past the turn and back-tracking our way back to the line. ...

Had a good couple of days. A couple of Cheryl's high school friends, who are married, Molly and David Woody, joined us at the campground for lunch. They stayed on into the evening. We were joined later by Sue, Cheryl's sister and her husband Denny along with Cheryl's mom. Weather was good, we sat outside having a few drinks and laughing and carrying on. Very nice visit. ... was to go Napa Auto Parts to get some plastic elbows and clamps just in case I need to cut the hoses and splice them on the road. They were also very knowledgeable and helpful.
