The final process is the painting. There are various paint schemes that the individual ball players may use. Each bat is hand dipped to achieve the desired paint scheme.

... poorer neighborhoods where the houses are in some disrepair, the houses are still beautiful. Tobacco barons built these homes. In the late 1800s Lynchburg was one of the weathiest cities in America. We stopped in the Lynchburg Museum in the Old Courthouse, but the main attraction here is the town itself.

... aquarium. Nice little aquarium. While it’s hard to see many of the animals in small habitats, we have to remind ourselves that most aquariums are now rescue centers and that these animals cannot return to the wild.

We were amazed to see a beautiful bald eagle that had been rescued. It greeted us as we visited the first exhibit. Magnificent. We’ll probably never be that close to another one.
