... cabinetry is everywhere. Most night stands and bedside tables adhere to the walls. The lines are clean, there is no clutter.

The Kaufmann's did not entertain very much and truly appreciated their getaway in the country as just that, a rest from their busy city lives. There is a guesthouse that held a sitting area, bed and bath. It mirrored the house, sat at a higher level on the property and was accessible by a gradual winding stone staircase, three ...

... place to rest. It has been a long day.

In the middle of nowhere but on The National Road, which once was the road west we arrive back at Stone House Restaurant Inn and Tavern. After several runs down the bunny slope, they declared that I was ready for the 2 mile Salamander. They might have been a little enthusiastic in their assessment of my skills. I fell...a lot. In total, I made it down the Salamander twice that day. The rest of my time was spent working on turns and form ...

    Snowy Adventures

... this summer. It was so hard not to stop every ten minutes (okay, ten seconds) and capture a shot of the landscape. I swear there were sirens calling to me from the snow covered rolling hills that were dotted with cows and rustic wooden and stone buildings. Once we left the main highways we were in a true winter wonderland. Abbi wasn't thrilled by the occasional white out conditions; but I couldn't be happier to back in the snow once again. Good news: ...
