... walk to the Chattanooga Distillery. This distillery originally was the first legal distillery in Tennessee. Established 100 years ago, it was closed down upon the introduction of Prohibition in 1920. When prohibition finally ended, they did start distilling again, but it had to be from Indiana. ... an indoor/outdoor climbing wall downtown, along with lots of great  bars and restaurants.  And of course their is quite a bit of Civil War History.  If you go to Chattanooga, you must go up to Lookout Mountain.  Not only is it an historical Civil War site, but the views are incredible and all the homes are lovely and charming, with Fairy tale street names like Red Riding Hood Rd. and Peter Pan Way. I was lucky enough ...
