Fawkes and fireworks!

... sat and watched hundreds of fireworks going off all around Mission Bay. We went to sleep with the sound of constant fireworks in the background, and waking up at 5:00 a.m., there were still the sounds of fireworks from die hard Fawkes fans going all night! This might be a great tradition to start in Canada when we get back! Any reason for a party!

... and I was happy to see a few locals down there, despite having this on their doorstep every night, they still took time to appreciate it. It was a beautiful sunset and the beach truly earned it's name.

We are all set to head to Raglan next, and we have some friends of friends to meet up with there, although because there is no signal in Port Waikato either, we're going to have to drop in slightly unannounced.
