Day 24 continued Thursday 18 June 2015
Wounded Knee was an isolated lonely looking place when we arrived. In retrospect, quite fitting for such a sad place.

... slight dip and incline in the road for the past day and a half (excluding freeway overpasses)! The road was actually curving now, too, which made the ride more interesting. We came to the Tesoro minimart in Rothsay for a real break having averaged 10.1 mph for the 15 miles. ... pedaling. About a mile from Barnesville, Dave pulled off and said he just had to get off the bike for a few minutes. I agreed! We stretched, as we do at every stop, and nobody said very much. Then we pushed on into town.

Rest stop at Black River Falls scenic overlook walk to stretch our legs.

Spent afternoon at Freightliner in St Paul. Turn signals quit working. Their tech cleaned some terminals and the problem went away but no one knows why. Maybe tomorrow we can get in a full day with out repairs.
