It's travel day and was a long day. We got up around 6 AM. Got ready and mostly packed. We ran into Harlan for breakfast where Harlan and I had coffee and Joel had one waffle.
We checked out around 9:45 AM and headed to Harold and Marlene's house where she served us breakfast. Cinnamon rolls, fresh fruits, eggs, sausage, muffins as well as champagne.
Cousins started leaving around 11 AM and we were the last to leave at 1 PM. Our flight from Fargo to ...
... birthday cake. the deliberation and voting began. A discussion ensued about Joel and Jim hosting for 2016 by Alan. Joel brought up the pros and cons of coming to Washington DC. Then, a one year/two years discussion started, too. Janell won the votes to host in 2016 and it will be either in the second or third week of August.
Everyone left Harold and Marlene's around 8:45 PM. End of Day Three of the Cousins Reunion.
... Harold and Marlene's house for lunch. We had pulled pork sandwiches, potato salad, home made pickles, and brownies. We also played several games - tossing bean bags and washers. The outlaws won!
We also had dinner at Harold and Marlene. She made turkey, cranberry, baked potatoes, German bread, Amish pickled string bean, fruits, rhubarb pie, and apple pie.
The cousins reminisced about the past. It was interesting listening to their stories.
... in Miller SD and got lunch/dinner to go. We finally arrived at Baymont Inn & Suites in Wahpeton around 8:30 PM. After we dropped off out luggage, we went to Marlene and Harold's house. We saw and chatted with Alan and Mary, Janell and Gary, and Harold and Marlene. We left their house around 10:15 PM after having a piece of chocolate zucchini cake. Delicious.

... of sunflowers all along the interstate but their heads were turned down because of the haze. Our nights stop was a small campground in Minnesota overlooking a lake. Such a pretty spot to stay for the night, especially after all the flat land, but I do miss the big sky.
Minnesota is a pretty state. Maybe our next excursion will be here in the north ...
