    ... to head in the direction we came from before arriving here. They are going to spend time in Tallahassee and then will move on to Navarre Beach. They tried to stay an extra night here, as we did, but were told that there were no spaces. I guess Cheryl got to the office early enough this morning to get our space for another night.

    ... Harley and I walked slowly and before long, we met up with Cheryl on her return trip.

    When we got close to the RV Park, we saw the birds again and went through the same routine with them. This time, the passing cars nearly came to a stop as the birds fled the scene to their haven in the tree. We took a closer look at the carcass and also another one nearby, and determined that they were probably opossums. I speculate that the birds hang out ...

    ... the A1A. The 95 is the interstate and filled with tolls and boring driving. The 1 is nice but mostly goes through the town strips so pretty much Wal-Marts and McDonalds and Starbucks everywhere. The A1A on the other hand is where you get the nice views. It's a slow drive but that’s a good thing as you get a chance to look at the beaches and all the humungous houses that line the coast. There are a million places to park and go for a quick stroll ...

    ... gloves, an astronaut suite repair kit and a whole range of “stuff”. We ate lunch in the café because we thought that it would be bedlam at the main centre - salad for me and coffee, sandwich for Doug and half a banana each.





    We walked through the souvenir shop – toys etc were very expensive but there were some quality items for sure as well as some astronaut food - freeze dried icecream for example.
