... is a Prespyrtarian minister not a Methodist, but they are very close together in their doctrines so I did not feel I was betraying my Methodist heritage by attending his church. One of the newer National Parks is near Columbia and we decided to drive on over. Congaree National Park became a NP in 2003. There is a Visitor Center, primitive camping and a number of trails. We tried a walk on the elevated boardwalk but were turned back by rain. I had an umbrella, but the walk was getting slippery. Well, we didn't want to be so close and not visit.
