Happy 4th of July!
Well, ok it is past the 4th of July for everyone, but we got to see fireworks last night, so I was just pretending it was our 4th of July! It was actual Independence day for France and they had amazing firework on the water while we were in Nice. They turned off all the city lights along the coast and we got to see a specutacular show!

Day 7 - Parma - Genoa - Cannes - Antibes

Free time to explore the town and then we headed off to our hostel accommodation in the quaint town of Antibes. We were treated to a good supper and then free time before bed.

... looked like royal palace, but we weren't allowed. The seven of us went to an empty table and had some of the dealers explain to us how to play the table games. It was awfully intimidating to join a table where players were throwing down 1000 euro bills like toilet paper.

Later in the afternoon we headed to the most dense sovereign state, Monaco. Our first stop was to check out the Royal Palace where Grace Kelly lived and then the Monte-Carlo casino.
