    ... neighbors' 40th Anniversary celebration. All the neighbors turned out - some old, some new, some borrowed ... but I digress. A good time was had by all. Jim and Gayle and Mom Nancy put on a great party. Lots of good food. Then, back to Schmidts for a wonderful boat ride. So nice. Up tomorrow for the rest of our journey home

    Time to head home! :(

    After one last yummy free breakfast at the hotel, we got a luggage cart, which Reagan had fun riding (parents of the year right here!), and headed back up to the hotel room to get all of our luggage, and started loading up the car! Its always sad to head home after a fun vacation.

    ... we set her skirt out to dry in hopes it would be dry by lunch time! Hopefully no one judged us to much for her wardrobe choice! Lol!

    For lunch we headed to downtown Saugatuck. What a cute little town, it was right on the Kalamazoo river, had docks full of beautiful, expensive boats that you could charter for a day out on the water, cute art galleries, ice cream shops and restaurants.     We started the day with free breakfast at the hotel. Our first planned stop was Holland State park to see another light house and to explore another beach. The storms the day before had made it shockingly cold outside. It was chilly at the hotel, but not nearly as chilly as it was at the beach.
