    ... we told that we would wait until the rain slows down. They told that the rains were in the forecast, and we might have to wait long for the rain to stop. Since the main entrance was in sight, and we knew that we can take a Shuttle from there, to the upper entrance, we started walking and in a few minutes, it stopped raining.

    There we took the Shuttle to the upper entrance and were back to the Car. Was time to say bye to Watkins and make the move to Elmira.

    ... of the falls (and 2 snakes that were slithering around on the rocks next to the trail) before heading back. Then we drove back to the Upper Falls lot and spent 20 mins going up over the bridge to see the Upper Falls and a little farther into the gorge on the North Rim Trail and back to the lot.

    ... I asked my waitress if they had an 8 oz beer on tap but no, only pints. She suggested a shandy of lager mixed with lemonade so I went for it and it was actually pretty good.
