Well where did the time go. Again I had a massive sleep in - 9am, my god what was happening. Obviously I needed it. As we had loads of repacking to do and it was our "goodbye" day we decided not to overdo it with activities. We had asked Cheryl if we could go and see the boys high school and to our delight she had organised a visit to coincide with Zander's lunchtime. We ...

I couldn't believe it I had slept in! It was 8am when I awoke to the smells of warm bagels, bacon, waffles & eggs. The Kennedy's look after the "Aussies!" when it comes to hospitality. Truth is I was still full from our turkey feast but who can resist the call of toasted cinnamon and raisin bagels? I still got up and went for my freezing cold run through Central Park and yes it did star snowing. I didn't get lost this time and also ran with my camera so I got quite a few photos. It was as beautiful as yesterday. We had breakky at our usual and sad goodbye to all the staff. ...

... me texting Kandy thinking we were going to die) through peak hour traffic (why do we keep doing this) we finally made it to East Orange. Doesn't seem to be the most upper class of areas, but it will do! We've taken everything out of the car just to be safe :-/

We just got back from Clifton, which is a suburb nearby, where we had a yum dinner at Applebees. A little more expensive than what we usually spend, but cheap if compared to Aussie dining prices!

... it seem just like a park. Wow! Some more sightseeing by bus before checking into the Sheraton Time Square. After a quick shower and change of clothes it was off to Applebee's for dinner. I had yummy salmon and vegetables. Simone thought it would be nice to experience a little of the Time Square atmosphere so we walked ten blocks back to the hotel. Four of us continued on another ten blocks for a horse and buggy ride around Central Park. It was a great ...
