Today I found gold.

We walked through the entrance to Sovereign Hill and got our tickets. There was so much to see and do. We saw a man making horseshoes. We went into huts and tents that they built during the gold mining time. The we went down to the river and where you could pan for your own gold and for the first time I found gold.

Feb 27th – Rains most of the night but stops around 9:30 so we decide to go trekking. We are like the Grizwalds going to Wallyworld. We drive all this way to see these great mountains and all the roads in are closed due to floods and washouts they had at the end of January. After all the excitement of the day before, we had more of a lazy day on friday, but with a few fun things thrown in.
