Traveling gets exhausting! It has been so nice to be able to stop for a while at June’s house. The weather has not been so good here in Brisbane so I took a few days off to just catch up with myself. I did some painting around the house for June and took it pretty easy. It gets hard always moving around sleeping in a new bed every other night. ... Canada. Not including my short stop in Dartmouth before I left, I managed to have a 60 degree change in temperature. It was around -30 (without wind chill) in Labrador when I left and it was just hovering at the +30 mark (plus humidity) when I arrived in Sydney. Next we saw the snake presentation. The presenter showed us a phython. Phythons kill there prey by squeezing them and then swallowing them whole, head first. Australia has 8 of the top 10 deadliest snakes in the world. The Inland Taipan snake is the deadliest snake and they had one at the sanctuary. The guy let us touch the python but he said that you should not touch a snake on the head because the head is very sensitive.
