      Today is a visit up to the world famous Napa Valley and some wine tasting organised by Lauran and Doug, old time friends of Chris. It is just my second visit to Napa Valley, the first done many, many decades ago with Lauran's dad Chet.

      ... about our great Aussie varieties. In particular we mentioned the great Mudgee vineyard and wines of 'Bunnamagoo' He now has my e-mail address, this vineyard name and some other info about various Aussie vineyards that he intends to chase up.

      We were back to our hotel by 7.30 pm feeling a bit like Joni Mitchell with her 'Big Yellow Taxi'. We didn't know how good we had it back home with our vineyards and the likes of those in Mudgee! ...

      Diana was really tired as she had been driving all day yesterday and today, so she dropped me and Danny off at a local bar and she headed home. Danny wanted to challenge me to a game of pool.       ... was a no thankyou, but we had fun looking around the castle. A few others we looked at had wine tastings for the same price and we didnt wanna pay for wine because we dont really even like it! But one we went to was $10 for 6 wines and the lady let us share so it was only $5 each which was ok. We tried some whites and reds (which were gross) and then the port that they had there which was delicious! I much prefer sweeter wines. They also had some cheese tastings there so i tried a few ...
