Hello again,

We've landed in Missouri south of St Louis! Paul got to see the arch for the first time! That was very cool! We also saw Budweiser Stadium which of course Paul knows someone who works there and lives next door to the stadium in some condos. I swear he must know somebody in all 50 states!

Todays drive was much better and we were able to call it a day at a normal hour today! We drove approximately 500 ...

... The servers come around and scoop whatever they have right into the middle of the table and everyone digs in. After you pig out on that you get your meal. Well, the road was the highlite of the trip thus far! About 24 miles of shoulderless twisty and hilly macadam snaking through corn and potato country. There was a section in the middle with extremely steep hills and elevation changes. As you climb a very steep hill you can't see what is on the other side until you crest the hill, very scary. What's on the other side?

Marshfield Missouri

The rains pushed us into Marshfield late in the day. We escaped for a brief time at Olanna's cafe in Springfield. We had a second breakfast that carried us down the road. We detoured to a local bike shop to check Cat's bottom bracket and had a new rear tire added to Richard's bike. We trust that tomorrow will be dryer and with fewer ...
