... It lead us down a paved road, then a dirt road past some houses and finally into a field. We had to climb over the farmers fence (a ladder was provided) and a sign warned us to mind the cattle-leave only but footprints. It was the most random path but we enjoyed walking through the fields that had the ocean to our left and mountains to our right. We finally came out to the main road that would take us back to town, but we weren't ready so we headed back the way ...
And the Winner Is
... Way and into the car park to be bailed up by a chap trying to talk us into talking a house and buggy ride (aka pony and trap) around the lake. These horse and buggies are everywhere in Killarney but we were surprised to see them in the national park. Anyway we decided it might be the best way to see what we wanted to see in a short period of time rather than having to walk because we need to be in Dublin tonight. No vehicle access ...
