... headed to a locally well-known dive location with a ‘jetty’ about 300m long. It was freezing but Sandra and I picked up the pace and it wasn’t so bad. We were able to see the mountains in Olympic Park on the other side of the water in the US (state of Washington actually).

... a display showing the circus coming to town and ending with the present day equivalent of a funfair.

We left smiling!! John’s mum Liz would have been amazed at the detail and would have loved the various shops and houses with all their furnishings.

... dinner in the steakhouse restaurant. After that, we tuck into our cabin and watch a DVD. Not that different from home, except, wow!--everything's cooked for you, and your room gets tidied twice a day. Love it.

Travelpod seems to have plotted me in the Middle East. I'm not really there. We enroute from Seattle to Sitka, Alaska. [corrected to show Victoria, but really--we're at sea.]
