... I was cool with that. Karen was also cool with that, so we headed off with him. By the way, I should probably mention that his name is Dan, he is a realtor who also works at a nursing home to pay the bills. He had a real Canadian-style beard but on his card was clean-shaven. Big difference. Karen and I both agreed that we probably would have been more wary of the clean-shaven Dan, but seemed to find the overgrown Dan easier to trust... for some unknown ...

Well here I am. The timeline is real. I'm even counting down! 38 hours until I go to the bank and pick up the US funds I ordered. 41 hours until I'm on the ferry to Seattle. 61 hours until I'm on a plane in the air. In less than 3 days, I will be en route to Nicaragua. And I will be gone for six weeks.

I will really not miss working in a pizza store.
