... a driver because I'd be arrested for road rage! They are crazy down there and honk their horns at you for no reason! I was not able to finish out the Miami leg of the tour as I had to fly back to Michigan to fill in for a fellow employee going on vacation. That tour took me to Toledo to the zoo for a day, Grand Rapids for a day and then Milwaukee for a day. Paul has gone from Miami to Chicago where he is for the remainder of this ...

Preparing for the journey

... 5pm Mass with their families. During Mass, Msgr. Vincke will give us a blessing for trip.

After months and months of planning and fundraising we are so ready to go forth and bring Christ's love to Cincinnati!
Please keep us in your prayers. We will be departing at 10:30am on Sunday morning and will return on July 18.

Thank you to my parents for a delicious Tuscan dinner to get us ready for Italy. We are all looking forward to tasting the food in Italy....okay maybe not Emery so much. Max Hornak, Emery may follow in your footsteps and be ordering a lot of pizza!

... of these bundles and just set them on the floor so we could start our trip. We had been walking around them and tripping over them since the start of the trip. Too tired to take care of them on day one, too busy with family after the day two trip. We took all the pots and pans out from under the kitchen cupboard and put them under the dinette then put the canned food in the cupboard. ... I knew I was getting close! OH and MI were the longest and hardest to get through. By the time I made it to Diamondale, MI, I was more than ready to get out of the car! I was greeted with big smiles, dogs and a hot dinner! It was definitely worth the stopover! The next day I headed to WI to see my oldest brother and his family. 6 hours in the car and a stretch through Chicago with MULTIPLE tolls that were confusing, especially with the GPS telling me to keep left ...
