We are taking the scenic route today along the seaways following Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. It was a fantastic ride and the sun was out the whole day. It doesn't get any better than this.

Leaving the scene of the crime, we continued driving East Shore Drive to the third and final stop on this scavenger hunt. This was an absolutely gorgeous drive even if the sky was overcast. ... and 1980 Olympic Ice Rinks. The "Miracle" Ice Rink still gets me. The guy working the desk at the museum was working concessions at the rink during the 1980 US/Russia game.
We then hiked about 2 miles to the Lake Placid Lodge. Had some great drinks at the bar, and great conversation with the bar tender and other patrons.
