      ... the surf. Unfortunately the surf wasn't up to expectations for the entire 4 weeks, with much wind, small swell and a constant threat of rain and thunderstorms. But the kids really enjoyed it, and all progressed their surfing skills.

      For Kathryn and I, the wildlife entertained, with 4 Koala sightings, kangaroos, big lizardy things and turtles.

      ... the entrance to the beach. After having a walk around there we drove up to a beach town called Mooloolooba, which was definitely my favourite out of the three beaches!       ... work tomorrow). On the way home we stopped off at Gateway Drive and visited the few boutique shops that are hidden away behind the giant Bunning's DIY store! We had a quiet few hours back at the house before we headed out to Noosa Woods with Teresa and the dogs! We parked up deep in the woods and walked a short way to the designated 'Doggy Beach'.       Got up a bit late as booked in afternoon trip to Milford sound....last day in Wanaka today!       ... lui pour la nuit. On rencontre Lisa et Taj, avec qui il forme une adorable famille. On profite du lit et de la douche chaude.Le lendemain, on lui fait part de notre désir de visiter Fraser Island le jour à suivre. Il se trouve que c'est la plus grande île de sable au monde (120 km de long), dont tout le monde que j'ai pu croiser m'a dit qu'il fallait absolument y aller.
