It's so interesting how you can gather with people once a year yet it feels like there has been no time since the last time you've seen them - you just pick up where you left off. There will be the same feelings next year in Las Cruces I'm sure. I look forward to seeing everyone again as well as meeting new friends!!

I got up at 6:15 and Larry at 6:30. We were at breakfast by 6:55. I had a small biscuit with a little gravy, a few scrambled eggs and a yogurt. Larry had eggs and biscuits and gravy. ... the restaurant was across a busy highway so we drove to Hog Heaven. It is a play on words of a sort as it is a barbecue place with a Harley Davidson Motorcycle themed decor. Larry got a Great Lakes Burning River beer and I got a Hogarita. When I saw the size of the portions being brought out I decided I would get something off the appetizers: Quesadillas with chicken. ... That night the Athens County sheriff posted a Level 3 snow alert, which means all roads are closed except for emergency personnel and you can be arrested if you are caught driving. There was only a little snow further north where we were so we decided to go with plan B and head west to Columbus and wait to see if conditions were improving, at least that way there were more things to see and do as well as more accommodation options in case we needed to stay another ...
