... within seconds and showed her on her way. We were to meet Drew at Pier 39 for our evening catamaran tour at 6:15pm so once we had finished the cheesecake we took a slow walk up to Fisherman's Wharf and on the way we passed through Chinatown which was really cool. I'm not sure what time we actually boarded the boat as we had to wait a while but when we were finally off most of us decided to stand on the netting bit at the front. ...

... to make our way back to Downtown Hollywood in search of celebrity's. The Grammy Awards was an unexpected bonus and although I have no love for celebrity culture (despite the fact they are the worlds most important and talented humans), I decided it was an opportunity one couldn't miss.

San Francisco to Bangkok

Midnight in San Francisco. It's going to be a really long flight to Bangkok. 14 hours to Taiwan and then 3 more hours to Bangkok. Never ever have flown on Chinese Air and never been to Asia before. So excited.

Overnight flight with short stop at Taipei Taiwan wasn't this bad. Some wine and few movies made the flight bearable.

Taipei airport is quite modern and impressive.

Another 3 hours flight and finally we landed in Bangkok.

Here - at last!

Tomorrow we will take a day to explore San Francisco and drop off the bikes. There will, I hope be time for one last hurrah as we take them over the Golden Gate Bridge for the last photo-op of the tour.

Cabin in the Woods

A travel blog entry by christinakrawec on Aug 09, 2014

Jonathan and his brother, David, decided to treat their parents to a little trip since they're in town. I barely had any idea where we were going until yesterday, and here we are, just north of Sausalito, CA.

On Saturday morning, Jonathan, David, his wife Kelsey, Jonathan's parents and I all went to brunch in Palo Alto at Hobee's. When we finished there, we drove up past San Francisco to Mill Valley, where Jonathan and David said ...
