... corner of the hotel. It was a delicious meal of wonderfully spiced curry and nan bread. What was also great was that the girls loved the curry...that's good news for going out to eat later! After dinner we all went to see a film, The Giver, which featured Sidney's hero Taylor Swift. The film was enjoyable, albeit that it wouldn't be threatening for any Oscars when the Academy Awards next come ...

As mentioned previously we were awoken by a man singing loudly as he came to and from the room that I assume he lives in. It is a short 45 min drive from San Francisco, and one of my favorite places on the west coast. I recommend it if you are ever out there.

We spend a couple hours walking through the park and staring in awe at the trees. One of the coolest things is a display that shows a cross ...

... when I asked for salad with no dressing, not common at all. Bruce was suffering with a sore leg so we took a cab back to the hotel, arrived in less than 10 mins and the Ethiopian taxi driver was very friendly and wished us a good night upon departure. The day in San Francisco was warm and about 25C but much warmer in the Valley, probably 34C and overcast. Got windy near Sacramento and cooler upon arrival, about 25C Cheers, ...
