Nice to see "mountains" again I am such a western mountain snob as Sraddha says. It is pretty, however not compelling to stay overnight so we keep heading east and north. We stop to buy some fresh corn at a roadside stand then make our way up to Plattsburgh RV park. We first stopped at the state park ...

... disappearing in the distance on our left. The bridge connects the NY and VT sides of Lake Champlain and Crown Point Fort ruins, museum, state park and Champlain Lighthouse are on the end of the NY side of this new bridge. We rode our bikes from the Champlain Bridge Marina which is located on the VT side and did a self guided tour. Everything is fairly quiet here so we enjoyed the freedom to move from place to place. ...
