We woke up and had reservations for a 2 hour horseback riding trail ride on old Snowmass mountain and Hells Roaring. The entire family went and had a unique experience. Although Jordan and Pepijn weren't so fond of the idea of horseback riding - they had a good, even though somewhat uncomfortable experience. And Duke got to run around a park in downtown Aspen with a lot of other pampered ...

As we were trying to head out of Dodge we were delayed by someone famous or powerful in those fancy black SUV's...flanked by many escort police...When I lived there the rich and famous just hung out with everyone else (which was part of the appeal for them). So now we are on the way to Utah...just about to Grand Junction. It's ...

... it now!!! Oh my! We had dinner listening to two oldies sing country music and even had a song dedicated to us! When coming down Independents Pass to find our campground...we saw a BEAR run across the road!!!! It was so exciting to see a bear that was absolutely in its own element...he/she was smart enough to run like hell across the street...I. Was so happy that he looked perfectly healthy.. Waiting for lions and tigers ...
