Tuesday, I made my way back to Snowmass for the morning. They had reported 6 inches overnight I think. Scrambled once again up the snow covered hill to the grandstand. The World Cup Ladies Slalom Course was all laid out and we were able to see it from top to bottom.

Once again we cheered on all nations and a huge cheer for our Aussie, Greta Small. This was her first World Cup Slalom start. Unfortunately Greta straddled the ...

... was beautiful – blue sky and sunny and warmish! We did get held up on the ramp because there was some work being done on the rock walls of the canyon. Essentially, there were workmen half way up the wall of rock, and when a helicopter delivered a large sheet of mesh, it was secured by the workmen. It was interesting to see how potential rockslides may be averted. We eventually arrived in Aspen in the late afternoon, and checked ...
