    ... Falls. We got to the trail, but chose not to do the hike. Again today, the storms were moving in. I didn't want to get caught up on a dirt road that was getting washed out. So we headed back down the mountain and back to Gunnison. The timing was almost perfect. We just got down to the paved road before the heavy rains came.

    Tomorrow - Lake City, CO.

    ... beginner and intermediate terrain. It was quite warm by the time I arrived and the snow was very heavy. I took an ungroomed black and was sorry—hacked my way down the heavy wet snow. I took a few runs through the beginner terrain park and enjoyed doing the little jumps.

    After dinner we had to hightail it from the Venetian down to the MGM Grand to have our minds blown by David Copperfield. It was an amazing show and some of the **** he did was so incredible.     Woke with an air of expectation this morning as yesterday had been mindblowingly good. It was a cool, crisp morning around -7c. Felt just like home! Scrambled once again up the snow covered hill to the grandstand. The World Cup Ladies Slalom Course was all laid out and we were able to see it from top to bottom.
