    ... can’t. Thus the hiatus from blogging for four months. Suddenly we were on a mad dash across the country to get back to Wisconsin. I was sick and in so much pain.     We continued driving along the road to the Gorge Falls and dam. We couldn't see the dam very well because the trees have grown up, but there were beautiful views of the Gorge Falls and river.

    ... we still soaked in hanging glaciers, rugged lower peaks, a couple of marmots, some lingering snowfields and lots emerging wildflowers.     ... Arch border crossing. We had all of our documentation out ready so we joined the queue with everyone else & waited.... It only took about half an hour to get through the lineup of cars & it really didn't feel that long. Once we were at the booth the US border guy asked us a few questions, scanned our passports & within 5 minutes we were on our way again. Easy peasy.
