... we have 50 cast iron skillets at home - which is 49 too many!"

Overall, the North Cascades NP makes camping easy - very nice sites, easy in & out, incredible scenery. I chose the Colonial Creek Campground again because (1) no matter how much I enjoy new experiences, I'm still inherently lazy, and familiar is so nice; (2) the view is also nice; (3) in lieu of real company, there's wildlife (see video).

... We got to see a beautiful and amazing waterfall, hike through the snow, and have lunch by the river. There was even a snowball fight and some attempts at sledding (with a plastic bag)! We finished off the trip with a stop at a roadside stand for some local ...

... was to drive through Vancouver but the GPS was playing up (hadn't used it for a couple of weeks) & didn't have a proper map so saw a bit more than we had planned.
We crossed back into the USA & had a 1/2 hour wait at the border crossing, lots of vehicles travelling south, they say it can sometimes take an hour so we were lucky. Camped at Walmart at Bellingham. Ray is glad we are back in the States, fuel ...
