... smashed against the rocks) so I just sit in the refreshing coolness and relax for a bit, letting the water carry all my weariness away. I gingerly walk across the river and back--just to see if I can do it... Get out of the water... then back in again... out... back in again... Finally I reluctantly head on my way.
I continue on my way, finally reaching Brunswick at dusk. This looks like an intriguing town--but I'm going to save exploring it for another day.

... event being held and there were many veterans who fought in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. It made our visit here extra special. Olivia struck up a conversation with a World War II veteran from the U.S. air force. His name was Howard Dixon. He was an aircraft engineer on the B-29 bomber. It was an honour for us to meet him. We are so grateful for the sacrifices Howard and so many others made for us so we can enjoy freedom today.

First things first, I was lucky to be on time at the airport in Zaventem, because I almost could not take my flight! Indeed, one can stay max 90 days in the USA, but because I will spend 3 weeks in Canada, I extended my stay to 104 days of traveling. That is ok, as long as one can proof that indeed, within the first 90 days, one actually leaves the USA. A ticket would be fine, but I did not have that yet! "Too bad, than you cannot board ...

... Echo Park. This park was an amusement park in the early 20th century and originally there was some type of amphitheater that sat upon the Minnehaha Creek. At the park there was a carousel and a number of other rides that do not exist today. Many children were riding the carousel or awaiting riding the carousel.

There was one building that appeared to have bumper cars in a past time. In front of the park there was an original streetcar that ...
