Today is D-Day, the long-awaited day of departure for Nonna and Boppa on their Italian adventure. The DH has been telling folks he thought that was an auspicious date for us to invade the continent - never mind that we won't actually get there until the 7th! Let's also remember this D-Day for what it actually was... the day those brave men of the Allied forces stormed the beaches of France. God bless the Greatest Generation!
