    ... might want to choose a quieter location. Between cars driving through, motorcycles on the highway, workers arriving in the lot at 4am to leaf blow and sweep the whole parking lot with one of those mini street sweepers...let's just say it wasn't the most quality night's sleep we've ever had. But, grateful for a safe first night's sleep.

    ... and down 5th Avenue - that is all we seem to do ! The Guggenheim is opposite Central Park, so we crossed over to that side, beautifully tree-lined, which was all the better for viewing the ditinguished houses on the other side of the avenue. I really enjoyed seeing the homes of the well-to-do, and took a few snaps. When it began to rain, we caught a bus to the Rockefeller Centre, and lunch at the French Bakery we visited on Thursday.

    ... read a book, whatever action you choose it is a very relaxing place to be.

    Venturing off trail if you dare because you can easily get lost if you're not on the main loop trail. But we risked it anyway and found ourselves faced with huge trees- one that vera claimed to look like a scene from Twilight and another which reminded her of Lord of the Rings... Haha.
