... good bye to the kids. Got up late today, packed and went straight to Chris's favourite diner for brunch. Wendy had a chilli con carne, I had a breakfast burrito which was huge but delicious. Got a side of american bacon which was delicious, they serve it really thin sliced like prosciutto. Currently en route to Orlando. Sad New York is done already, but loved it, and loved catching up with Chris and Liz after 14 ...
... from Batman or something. Meanwhile fires are burning in the car park right beside the fuel tanks of the cars, go figure! We had a $1 hotdog and Budweiser and headed up to nose bleed territory to find our seats. The game eventually started after the cheerleaders and a performance of the national anthem. ... but have everything you could want, even a small kitchen with fridge, microwave and dishwasher ! The price is good, by NY standards. We have a " Heavenly Bed" - king size, and it is indeed of heavenly comfort, as is the bed linen. We have a " rainforest" shower, which gently caresses your skin with soft droplets ! No deluges here.
