... we did advance here in Old Bridge and he came out in clown to work with us. It was really nice to have quality down time where we could catch up, laugh, and fill Pat in on our time on the show so far (he was instrumental in helping John a few years back when we started pursuing working for a circus).

... uppity about the name, so they added a “k” at the end…love it) but since the library gig had gone overtime, we ended up having to pack our half-finished lunches into to-go boxes and take off for the next stop.
When we got there, school was going to be letting out in the next 10-15 minutes, so their program turned into a whirlwind 5 minute presentation in as many classrooms as we could fit in. It ended up being our favorite ...
... a very nice chat with Mack, the driver, we popped in to St John's Cathedral to check out the amazing stained glass windows. Absolutely amazingly beautiful. They were huge - a couple of stories high, and full of stories and colour. The church is quite liberal, even though it's officially a Catholic Church, has a school attached to it and small park with an incredible fountain next door too. We were so tired after all this sightseeing that we went home and made dinner ourselves ...
... paprika on spaetzle. The Paprika was well flavored, but the spaetzle was a disaster. It had obviously been re-warmed, and stuck together the edges dried and the consistency of the rest would have made library paste proud. A quick survey, said that all the other main dishes were fine if not very good, but the spaetzle was consistently awful.
