We headed out from Blacksburg a little after 10:00 this morning. Drove about 265 miles today; Rt 460 into West Virginia, I-77 N to I-64 W to Morehead, Kentucky. It was a beautiful drive through the mountains, and there was very little traffic.

How things change over night. Do has woken with a migraine so is confined to bed. Breakfast is waffles, fresh fruit, cream and coffee. Into the pool early, with the humming birds buzzing over us. Another fabulous breakfast with the company of deer and hummingbirds. The day is forecast to be 90F so we head out fairly early to the Carter Cave State Park.
