    I decided to bike mostly solo today and meet Patrick at camp. I feel like I'm missing some opportunities when I'm following him. I was cranking up a steep section through a neighborhood when an old man started talking to me. I stopped and had a conversation with him through traffic.     ... 81 I turned east on NY 12 which became much more interesting. Beautiful Cattle country. The farms were huge and so neat! Guess there were many factory farms but I also saw two Mennonite buggies so their influence was abound.
    Well I am staying not too far from the U.S. Mountain Parks. I have read the roads ahead are very interesting for motorcycles. Just hope I have time to stop and take Pics :)

    ... The atmosphere was friendly & inviting. The decor was almost a kind of 'old fashioned' Cracker Barrel look....but not as big and certainly NOT as noisy.
