      This weekend kickstarted with a class trip to York and Whitby. These trips are always fun because everything is already payed for and I had to do absolutely no planning. We woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed(aka the bus left at 8 am so I rolled out of bed) and headed on our 4 hour trek to the coast.       ... and the fireworks. Bed just after midnight. Up at 6.15 and on the road by 6.45. The 2 hours drive was just 1.45, the wind that had howled during the night had blown away the clouds giving a great drive until the Hole of Horcum where there were low clouds and I wondered if that's what the day would be like.       ... wall and visiting York Minster, Cliffords Tower, but the highlight was the Jorvik Viking Centre which I could tell you about but feel you have already been battered with enough history for one blog.Eventually our time in Filey came to an end and Birmngham beckoned, little did we know how a month with a Pug and Spaniel would push us above and beyond.
