... he wanted to go to bed super early. As we mentioned earlier, our beds were creaky, and whenever we moved even a little bit, they made a horrendous squeaking noise. Neither of us are good sleepers, and we usually toss and turn a fair amount before finally dropping off to sleep. However, that night neither of us dared move a muscle, as just after we climbed into bed, Alfie stirred from his sleep to have a go at us for making too much noise!
