Our Holiday by the Sea
... than it looks on TV but when we looked at our pictures it looked larger than life as well. I leant on the bar where Claude Greengrass and all the others drank, but was served by a young lass who wasn't a patch on Gina.
Although it was a miserable day the Moors, just like the Dales, are lovely in any weather.
Trip to Whitby tomorrow and maybe a train ride to Middlesbrough.

... many stately homes around here. Next day we caught the train(it was meant to be the steam train but it was out of action) to Whitby where of course Captain Cook came from. It is a very lovely seaside town,but unfortunately the weather 'turned' and it was et and cold so we caught the bus home. That was fun as it was a double decker bus and of course we had to sit up top which gave us a brilliant ...
Barnard Castle, Whitby,Warmfield
... full and feeling good we started making our way to Warmfield where our friends live. Still sunny and warm, a nice drive as well. Arrived here about 4.30pm. Spend a lovely evening chatting and enjoying a couple of reds and a beer. Very very nice and it rounded off a good day.
This morning it is pouring with rain but we are hopeful that it will ease off later on in the day and will try to go for a drive. If not, it does not matter, we will enjoy each others company.
