+ Did not appreciate how many Riesling vineyards there are in the area. Drinking theses wines reminded me I should not neglect them for my wine cellar.

All in all, river cruising remains one of our favorite travel activities. It is nice to unpack once, be close to the scenery and docking right in the middle of town. It is a pleasant way of traveling. Try it sometime!

... did in the Rose Bowl, beat the PAC-12!   It will be a real challenge! After Chihuly and a stop at our nearby hotel, we ventured off for lunch to Anthony's Pier 66 recommended by Kevin St. Cyr. ... everywhere. Another nice salt water hotel pool (I guess salt water is an in thing) then a sort of disappointing walk through Pike Place Market which was pretty empty in the evening and probably much better in the morning. So no fish throwing to witness oh well. The fish smell was still evident however. Rode the Seattle Great Wheel at dusk, giant Ferris wheel looking out towards Elliott Bay. Kind of a rip off. Off to the Oregon coast and away from the budget busting cities ...

... Qdoba for lunch. Best. Lunch. Ever. Two of my favorite things! Then I went to a town called Mukilteo that had a lighthouse. I couldn't have my last day not include a lighthouse, and it was such a cute one!
