... small towns such as Cottage Grove, Myrtle Creek and Oakland but cuts through the larger Sutherlin and Roseburg. After a 170 mile drive we stop at the Seven Feathers rest stop located in Canyonville for lunch and offer a little exercise and a treat for the muttzos. Sunday, July 5, 2015. PCT day 77. Miles 1163-1189.2 Today was a 26.2 mile day. Yes, I walked a marathon today. I even took a long lunch and nap some time mid-day. The nap definitely felt amazing. Spending the night last night in the hut was a treat as well. There were three other PCTers with me at the hut: Wallaby the 60 something year old Australian man, and the couple in their 20's, Dingo and Cosmic Bubbles. Wallaby is a pleasant person. I enjoy his company ...

It was soothing to slip into a bit of a routine after a month of new stimuli and day-by-day changes. The work has been making me stronger and I am noticing the difference every day.
Our base camp was amazing. We camped in our ...
