... family! Nobody else in our family can do that. She was a very proud and not open person. She was always worried about what people would think about our family problems. The funny thing is when I was in Brazil in October I found out that the last months she changed completely! She was telling all her problems, including about my brother to our maid, the girl that did her nails, her hair dresser etc. It is very ironic! Her whole life suffering alone without even ...

... few days ago. No miniature of Manneken Pis though. We were all puzzled by the heavily trafficked bridge as the one and only miniature from Luxembourg! But upon thinking about it later, I wasn't sure what landmark should have been there instead.

For the entire day, we just toured around the city, marveling at the mix of Medieval architecture and brick-houses. It definitely was a charming place that was very well kept and had as many tourists as Brussels even though it was 1/18 of the size. For a snack, we went to a place called "The Chocolate Line" that boasted exotic chocolate concoctions.. While it the experience might have been a waste on ...

Avril and I went to Antwerp, Belgium for the weekend. We had both heard that it is the a very young, trendy, vibrant, fashionable city. And Antwerp did not let us down. We visited the Mode Museum (MoMu). There was an awesome knitting exhibit. We also ate fries, waffles, chocolates, mussles, and of course drank lots of good beer. A great city!
