... Waterloo battlefield. The visitor center has two great films about the battle. I actually bought the first one which is in French, but has English subtitles. My students are going to love it! The other film, was actually a Russian film of the battle that had the climactic parts cut pasted together. I'll be searching for the edited version on youtube.

... only 2.5 hours. We landed on time at 9.30 am and the
temperature was -30C and IT WAS SNOWING! First time either of us has seen snow
actually falling! Aleisha was waiting
for us and had the car parked just outside the terminal but we had to have a
quick run around in the snow and catch it as it fell!

Oh and our international
travelling companion, Wally, is again with us on this trip!

Today we basically did nothing other than stroll around, shop, eat and drink. I left Mark at a pub for three hours whilst I shopped.

The only notable thing that happened was that I was given a Val water when I specifically asked for TAP WATER. I hate Val water. It is so pretentious it has it's own glass. WHAT WATER HAS IT'S OWN ...

... cranes that move the containers have ‘MSC HOME TERMINAL’ painted along their jibs. There are also lots of MSC ships alongside too, as you would expect. We are here for 3 days, an almost unheard of period of time for a container ship to be in one place.

Nick one of my fellow passengers leaves tomorrow and Arne and I have said we will share the cost of a cab to get him into the centre of Antwerp. With 2 full days we can do some sightseeing, if ...
