Finally after a day long of flying from Chicago, Illinois at 1am CST Tuesday we finally landed in Sligo Airport at 6 pm GMT Wednesday evening. With all that excitement over we drove on stopping at Louch Conn for photos then onto Newport where we decided to stay for the night. We did not have to be at our house sit until tomorrow and it wasn't far from here. Found a pub for the right price, booked in and went up the road for some sunset photos and nearby for a meal and had an early night.

Another island recommendation. We lucked out again and as we drove closer to the island, the sky cleared up and we yet again were lucky enough to have another good weather day for island exploring. We didn't stay on the island but only because the hostels were all booked up. If given the choice, we would’ve!
