That marked the end of the evening as a combination of sea air, exercise and good for put paid to any ambitions we might have had of making a night of it. Instead, we whiled away our last night in Tofino by going home and watching Ocean's 13, thus completing the trilogy! We didn't have long to wait though - and it couldn't spoil our amazing day on the water.

So back to the beginning of the day....

It was our usual slow Howarth start (pyjamas...cups ...

... in the town. And we were ready for some nature again. We decided to walk the rainforest trail. A boardwalk leading through the rainforest where everything is covered in moss. Reminded us of Cathedral Grove in terms of the size of some of the trees, but more beautiful with all the ferns and moss. Tofino and Ucluelet are renowned surfing spots. We sure saw that. Every third car had surfboards on them. Lots of places to rent boards and wetsuits, and even get ...
