Great fun day with "beat the Shelias" on one par three, two young Adelaide twins out of Alabama golfing team, a roving kangaroo and furry Australian animals everyhwere. ... opened a brewery down the island. He called his friend Dan and told him we were coming. We left the skatepark, I on the motorcycle and Daniel on the bike. I rode around the island for a little bit sightseeing; it was nice to get on a motor again. The brewery was in a polish community in Riverhead so naturally we had a polish lunch which was quite good. Finally, the day has arrived! We're scheduled to depart for Amsterdam at 8:20 pm from JFK. Our vacation/tour was booked seven months ago, and we can't wait to walk and bike our way through The Netherlands and Belgium. From Rick Steves, Frommers, TripAdvisor, Fodor's, etc., we've got all the sights covered. ... meatballs. We had meatballs to start with, which were mediocre, but energy-giving. After that we trekked through the store with some enthusiasm. I could only afford a bed this time around so was very restrained (although I did splurge on a $14 lamp). Others (some of whom own a GTI) purchased more...liberally, to hilarious effect ($60 worth of pillows?!).

At the end of the Ikea maze you have to collect all your chosen kit sets, which for us included 4 bedframes, 3 mattresses ...
