... other hand will be busy. Mary and I will be testing our golf skills at TPC San Antonio, home course to the Texas Open. I'm not sure what we've gotten ourselves into but I'll be taking lots of pictures. Hopefully we will represent golf in The Villages well but no matter how we play, I'm sure we'll come home with some good golf stories.

Before I forget, let me tell you about our last dinner in New Orleans. We ate at John Besh's place Domenica, which is Italian for Sunday. It was a really authentic Italian trattoria, very informal and family friendly. The most memorable dishes we had were a pizza that we shared, with tomato and spicy salumi and an antipasto plate with meats and cheese. The pizza could have been made in Italy and brought to New ...
... and headed back to the room to reapply sunscreen and rehydrate. Back to the Wave pool where the Kelly's met up with us. After awhile there, we duplicated our morning with a trip down the Falls and a long while in the Alligator area. Late evening trip to a good Mexican restaurant finished off the day, and we all slept very soundly, with Natalie sleeping over again. A great day for ...
... toured the sights together, dined with one another and collected memories as a group, we came away from the trip with new friends and a better understanding of one another’s beliefs and cultures. We even discussed religion and politics civilly without coming to blows.

With a view of red craggy mountains, we feasted cheese, humus, French bread (well, in a fashion), meats, fresh strawberries, fresh honey from Cherokee, peanuts, and, what became our favorite dessert, Oreo cookies.
