... motorway we'd just left for another 8 miles before we come off to Downtown, rains so bad you can hardly see the car on front. There are lots of hotels showing on TomTom so we start ringing but they all seem full, amazing as some are huge skyscrapers, eventually a Travelodge has a room & it's still close to the centre -it's not great but never mind. As the day comes to a close we are left the realization that we are blessed to have such a great daughter—that we miss. We are blessed to have a relationship that causes our hearts to hurt when we are apart.

... but mostly expensive so we did not do any shopping. We found a little Mexican restaurant that had seating outside. We shared nachos and watched people for a couple of hours. There were gondola type boats floating. Ducks and birds walked freely in and out of the restaurants, which was cute and yet somewhat disturbing.
