Amazingly he bought it when he was 21 and stayed there, it's not far back from the road and has other old houses behind. Inside it got weirder, it's all 70s but really tacky, some rooms lots of mirrors, the jungle room completely carpeted - ceiling too. Cumulative Miles Driven: 1337

The drive from Pensacola, Florida to Little Rock in Arkansas was around 520 miles by the time we had had a few diversions off the booked route as we passed through the states of Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana. Early on the morning of the 10th we were ready to embark. It was actually going to happen. We had a long day ahead of us and it surely turned out to be one. Destination: a friend's house in a suburb of Little Rock, AR. All went well, traveling through NC, into the mountains, then into the seemingly never ending rolling hills of E and central TN, ...

... road, Disney sing a longs, question games, alphabet games, silent thinking time, quick naps on the side of the road, pee breaks. The road was entirely flat, and I found today to be my hardest day yet. It was so mentally debilitating. The ride into Gatlinburg where we climbed mountains in the Smokeys was easier than today. We rode today on Heritage Trail: Trail of Tears to Butterfield Trail to Civil War Trail. Pretty amazing. The sky here in Arkansas was absolutely ...
