So Wings of Dixie went to Lajes Air Base in the Azores (Portugal) for Christmas caroling. It was a wonderful trip. However, we had difficulty with flights getting there and coming back--both cancellations and delays. That was kind of miserable. But being on an island in the middle of the Atlantic during winter at 65 degrees wasn't so bad! The people were SO nice. Such a great experience.
