    ... and think about our foreparents (Yes, that's a word. I just made it up.) in many generations taking it on by foot or by horse. Those people had to be in killer shape. Nature's gym. A lot to be said for that...

    Darkness has settled over the mountains now. But there are still kiddo voices ringing out, along with rapid footsteps. I think there's a passel of boys in the rooms above me. And their patient parents. Nature sounds abound. And all is right with the world.
