We traveled from Aunt Peggy & Sheldon's house to Henderson, NC. I rode criss-cross applesauce all the way to our hotel. Mom drove. It rained the first half of the way.

Aunt Roz's family is from Hartwell, GA. We crossed over lake Hartwell on our way into SC. In SC, we went passed Clemson University.

Uncle Grady was a cheerleader for Clemson University more than 50 years ago.

Sunday morning we woke up and packed up our stuff. We had to change the sheets, make the beds, and take out the trash to avoid a cleaning fee. Once finished, we headed west on US-64 to NC-215 near Rosman. Driving north for about 10 miles, we turned right onto Courthouse Creek Road (Forest Service Road 140). After a couple pictures we hiked back ...

... as it is set back into a huge chasm with gorgeous cliffs and rocks all around. The pool at the base of the waterfall is a great swim hole, but it was way too cold today for that. It was getting late, so we headed back up and decided to call it a day. Heading back to Cashiers, we stopped for hibachi dinner at Yoshi Steakhouse and then headed back to the hotel. This was our last night at the hotel, so we were sure to take advantage of the hot tub one last ...

After a night in London we motored on over to Asheville NC. Oh yea, it was London KY, not the other one....Anywho, we found a funky little park right near the freeway that had some interesting rv's camping there. See Attached pic's. Anywho, we intended to just over night here, but found out that there was a big 'ol house to see, so we did...see it that is. The guy that designed and built the Central Park in New York ...
