      Snooki Monstas looking for smoosh.

My father said he used to stay with his family in shabby rooming houses, and I vaguely recall a lot of Ocean Grove having a slightly shabby look about during visits in the 1980s. Nowadays, though, the town is completely spruced up and the B&BS, inns, and private homes are as well-kept and pricey as anywhere along the shore.

After lunch we had a fun process of washing off at the outdoor shower and getting changed as best we could in a little gazebo. N is very interested in tickets these days, and since we had to buy "tickets" (wrist badge passes) for the beach, he wanted to play with a ticket. I gave him a scrap of paper and he played for at least 15 minutes putting it in and taking it out of one of those ...

We had a VERY busy day today. The crew wore our tee shirts given to us by Future of Hope. Lots to do on our last day of service. As you will see, the dumpster is full. 30 sheets of drywall was carried in, a new window was put in, garden cleaned up and black mat down, driveway and flower gardens cleaned up, deck framed. Then we changed into Husker shirts and headed to Seaside Shore Boardwalk where we ...

Supposed to be 2 hours turned into 4 in heavy traffic and bad sat nav directions. Finally arrived at 6 flags, the famous chain of roller coaster parks with supposedly some of the best rides in the world. This one included the new worlds tallest roller coaster called King Da Car with a 420ft high vertical drop which to get up to involves being accelerated to 120mph in ...
