Our first day hike was a 4.5 mile hike, which we were told was a fairly easy hike. Valley floor to mountain top to valley floor. Let me tell you, when you climb to the top of a mountain....there is nothing easy about it. BUT we did it!!!! Unlike our last hike this was only a 900' elevation change in 2 miles. ... Walmart I have seen outside of Honolulu. Then I realized that many of the customers were Mexicans, not American Hispanics, but Mexicans crossing the border to do their shopping. The crowd was thick but we managed to get everything we needed in short order and head up the road.
