Ten hours, that's it. Just finishing making sure I have everything I need for the next four months. Packing up the last little bit of clothes that just got washed, the electronics, pillows and blankets, and the much needed water bottle.

Like I said, I have no regrets. Well, except maybe one. I'm leaving many people behind that I just don't want to. People I wish I could spend more time with. People that ...

I actually was able to fit everything I had in my little PT Crusier. Good little car! haha... She had a tune up, semi new tires, new hub, new brakes, new oil and oil filter, fill up on trans fluid and wiper fluid. She's all set and ready for the drive. Winds greater than 40 knots, lighting flashes hitting just a second or two before the thunder, and the rain pounding against the side of our tent. But it has been a pretty good day, after all...

I woke this morning at 6, as much due to being too warm and the air too humid, as because of the flight of 4 P-51s and a B-25 that joined them. The show seems ...

    Day 3: Arrival at Oshkosh

    Another really good day...

I had originally planned on waking up at 6, doing a quick breakfast, then trying to be in the air by 7. Instead, I let Alex sleep until 7:30, then he watched cartoons while I read a book - a much more relaxing solution than what I had planned. The sky was clear all the way to Oshkosh, so nothing to fret about there.

We actually took off right around 11, and the flight was only noteworthy in what we didn't see: ...
