... at the beach in the wind and rain. John and Keja challenged each other
to jump into the ocean. The challenge was met. Linda who lives in Portland,
Oregon had never been to the East coast, so this was her first chance to touch
the Atlantic Ocean.
By 10:30 am we loaded our luggage into the van, and got prepared to take our
group photo. We made the 12 pm ferry with 10 minutes to spare! Since
we were missing lunch, Keja was nice enough ...

Woke up to constant light rain in the morning. Off to Battle Row County Park, Long Island, New York today.
All went well towing the RV's through the outskirts of the NY CBD but got a bit hairy (elbows in) when crossing the George Washington Bridge especially alongside car carriers full of cars. A $37 toll to cross bridge! Another $13 toll on top of that one,on some other bridge. Forgot to mention it ...

... there when we needed him. While he hailed a taxi, Carolyn ran into a bakery to purchase a few pastries for us to eat while we waited at the airport. She just couldn't resist. Our favorite was a pastry topped with sliced apples and cinnamon. As we sat in the Admirals Club waiting for our plane to board we devoured our French pastries, for one last taste of Paris.
