... the back porch. He's very cute and friendly with some funky ears going on which I expect is the result of some brother/sister "activity"!! But cute and friendly all the same. The boys have just gotten back, they've done very well, drinks, bread, ham, cheese, some more margarine, two tubs of ice cream..... Everything we need for a good simple tea. Well done boys!! Ok, so Mitch said he was cooking tea tonight, on his own, no help needed...... Well the thought was there and he did try ...
... and then we all sang happy birthday and he blew out his candles!! We then had some time for Sam to unwrap some presents and then he got the chance to go into this special tube that blew tickets around like a "cash grab" to earn more tickets. We then divided up the rest of the tokens and had some more fun in the games area. By the end we had a huge bag full of tickets which we had to feed in to a machine to tally them up to exchange for something behind the counter. ...
... see off into the distance. We've had a time change, so now we will get to our next stop at 7pm instead of 6pm!! We are at least under 2 hours to go though. It is getting dark very quick!! We are staying in a log cabin called Blue Jay by Coblentz Country Cabins, it's an Amish built and owned lot of cabins in Berlin (pronounced with the emphasis Buuurl'n, not like the city in Germany) Berlin is in the Amish country area of Ohio. Wowww, you should see this ...
... just missed the hurricane coming in from the Pacific...we went from temps in the mid 90s and 90+ humidity to low 60s and low 40s last night...burr. Just what I expected for Ohio. Where'd summer go?
I know a ton of mail is awaiting for us and Richard will pick it up tomorrow. It was nice to be back in our own bed...but I sure miss those good cooks & our cabin steward! We are now back to ...
... we found the HOF to be informative as to the history of the game, and was fun to see the busts and also various personal items from various individual performances, such as Jerry Rice's football when he broke the record for number of passes, Russell Wilson's Super Bowl jersey (My favorite), etc.
Then around 5 PM we drove back to Walmart, hooked back up and drove an hour north of Akron to Silver Lake Campground to camp for the night. (next story)
